Scion is a long gestating co-venture between Robin Walden (aka Deepcutt) and Alastair Nicholson (aka Alastair), founder of long-running and respected UK hip-hop label Son Records. The pair first hooked up and started planning the label waay back in 2004, but as is often the way with these things, life got in the way and its taken a while to get all the pieces in place.. But Rome wasn’t built in a day, and it takes more than the odd weekend to knock together the world’s finest new electronic music label specialising in heavyweight d&b, dubstep and related styles.. Anyway, now we’re here, we’re here to stay and you can expect to hear plenty exciting new bits and pieces coming your way throughout 2008 and the years to come..
